An orphanage in Guatemala, New Life Advance International (NLAI), was faced with a peculiar problem and opportunity… several of the children in their care are deaf. Having never dealt with this situation, they sought help.
As a Billion.Global partner, they wondered if any other partners specialize in reaching the deaf for Christ. As the Lord plans it… there is a deaf ministry in the Billion.Global coalition, DOOR International! DOOR International connected with the orphanage, giving them tools to disciple deaf children.
Now NLAI can minister to a whole new, unreached people group that is typically over-looked and marginalized, the global deaf.
We rejoice that through Billion.Global the kingdom is advancing farther than before!
